Well i know that i really wanna grow my hair long for the school ball early next year. I wanna get it cut so that I have some short layers and they will be straightened and the longer pieces will be curled or big waves. As for wehther or not you wanna get your hair cut like that is up to you but large waves or curls would be nice

If you wear your hair down all the time i would recommend you put it up that way ppl can see the difference ;)

You can get some ideas at this website:

Most hair sites won't have styles for super long hair (mine is down to my lower back.) But things that worked for me is updos using pretty hairsticks like at this site:

Or half-updos where you take the sides and top of your hair and pin it back. There are variants of this - if you take the hair, and twist while pulling down at the same time, then before pinning it push it slightly higher up on your head, you'll get a nice little poof on the back of your head. This is like what you see all the celebrities are wearing nowadays. You can leave the ends straight or curled - it looks good both ways.
Then there are braids - go to this site for examples

Good luck and happy birthday!

With that long of hair you should have it pulled to one side (like a low pony) But make it all curly/wavy but don't use a binder use a plastic elastic or bobby pins, you don't want where the hair gathers (where a twistie would go) to be severe otherwise that would look silly. I've seen it done before and it looks great! --------or have a hair stylist spiral all of your hair and pin it up, if you do that make sure you have and interesting part so that it doesn't look slickly pulled back.
