I'm looking for a long scene hair cut, any ideas that would work for me?

My hair is about halfway down [between my shoulder and elbow] my arm, wavy, and pretty thick.

If you don't like the fact that your hair is so thick ask your stylist to thin it down. They can do that. It does grow back but it stays a little bit thinner for atleast 2-3 months.

You could get i layered. I am not sure about it on wavy hair but it worked for me...I have straight hair, but it is around the same length.

Anyways try to get it thinned if you don't like it thick...and then once you get it cut however you want style it with a round brush. They work awesome!
