okay well i just got straight bangs across (forhead obviously lol) and my hair is pretty long, and thick. When i wear it down, and straighten it, it usally messes up in like 3 hours. And my school is 6 and half hours long. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can wear my hair?

A straight fringe (sorry - I'm English!) is quite in right now with slightly wavy hair (not too curly) - try large barrelled tongs or pinning your hair into two or three buns against your head when it is nearly dry, then letting it dry - you can mess it up a little with some wax.
Otherwise, if you want to try and keep it neat all day, the easiest thing is to put it up. You could try a classic ponytail (as sleek as you can make it) or for a funky edge, backcomb your hair at the crown and drag it up making sure it has lots of volume and is very messy - very summer chic! Or go for a loose bun style with lots of hair hanging out of the bun and round your face. As long as your fringe is straight and not all over the place, you can get away with most looks!
