i got this one product called garnier "surf hair" its spray and i tried it but idk? how do u scrunch yours .... any tips u have

i towel dry my hair until it is slightly damp, or i sometimes even blow dry it on low, while brushing it so it doesn't get tangled. then i spray the same stuff you have into my hand and work from the top to the bottom.

I damp my hair first, then use whatever spray, or gel I have, and take the tips of my hair and wad them into my hand and move upward several times. This should dry on it's on and leave you with nice curly hair!

Shampoo your hair then condition it using a light conditioner that's the key. You don't want to use anything that is going to weigh your hair down. Aussie makes a great hair product called scrunch i believe. You spray it on damp hair not dripping wet hair. Then scrunch with your fingers. Air dry. You can also use the old stand by mouse. Good Luck

I'm getting married in the spring, (indoor wedding - church then reception hall) wondering if anyone out there with med. to long hair had any opinions about wedding day hair?

I have seen lots of beautiful updos but I love to feel my hair down. I am wearing a strampless, ballgown type (monalisa by maggie sottero). I was going to go with down and long curles.

I am sure I can do trial runs but curious if anyone had any disasters wearing it down or up?

A few tips

1. NEVER shampoo condition or straighten hair on the day of the wedding. One to two days before is sufficient, this applies only to those who are having their hair dressed and put up and NEVER straighten the hair after the final hair wash.

2. Make sure on the morning of the wedding you, or any member of your party having their hair put up or dressed, wears a button or zipped through top, this is to ensure NO item of clothing has to be pulled over the head once the hair has been created.

3. Your make-up is best to be applied before any hair styling. Make-up can be touch up once the full look has been completed.

4. If you plan to have pre-ceremony photos make sure your stylist is aware, you will need to allow time, this is usually an extra thirty to forty five minutes prior to being at the church or venue.

With little bits hanging down her face. She had no problem with it during the actual ceremony and reception, but had a bit of a disaster when she stepped outside and the wind kicked up.

this weekend im getting my hair cut%26amp;colored at my salon, but im not sure what to do . right now, i have medium brown, a bit longer than shoulder legnth hair with long side bangs and some layers. ive been looking for a color i could dye/streak my hair, and a cute hair cut (nothing too short, please!) if you have any ideas , please tell me :) pictures would be nice, too !

ok first rule about haircolor that they teach in beauty school.... color doesn't lift color.

meaning that if you buy a lighter color it will NOT take out the darker color!

so

if you want to lighten your color without damaging your hair anymore, you can try a couple things,

use really cheap shampoo like prell, or suave, these have a really high ph level, a high ph level will open up the cuticle of your hair, and let some of the dark color out. the hotter the water the better. dish soap like dawn also works. you will have to do this several times and probably for a few days.

or

you can go to the beauty supply and buy a color remover kit!!~~~this WILL damage your hair more~~~

follow the directions on the package, then you will need to color over the results of that since it will be a really awful orangy color, be sure to pick a shade or 2 lighter than what you actually want, since store bought colors tend to be a shade or 3 darker than they show.

my advice if the washings dont work enough, is go to a pro.... she (or he) will be able to do the best job without as much damage as you might inflict on your hair. it may cost a bit of money, but if you value your hair it is worth it!

YOU WANT TO USE AN ASTRINGENT TYPE OF SHAMPOO A CLARIFYING ONE. ALSO THEY HAVE A PRODUCT CALLED COLOR OOPS! IT WILL LIFT WHAT YOU JUST COLORED AND WON'T MAKE YOUR HAIR BLEACHED. ALSO IF YOU ARE WORRIED IT IS BEST TO SEE YOUR STYLIST. THEY CAN FIX MOSTLY ANYTHING WITH OUT DAMAGING YOUR HAIR. COLOR OOPS! I FIND IS USUALLY AT WALGREENS, BUT IN MOST DRUG STORES IN THE COLOR ISLE.

Ju, you will have to buy a product which will "strip" the colour out of your hair - any store or chemist - remember to wear a hat when you go to buy it!! Then follow instructions and from there you can dye it any colour you like. Good luck - get a friend in to help xx

hi, if u want, u can dye it one of these colours:

*Blonde

*Dark Blonde

*Light Brown

Dark Blonde is a nice colour, with some honey and lemon colours, or you could just try highlights in ur dark hair like vanilla,red,creamy blonde.... etc etc

You can buy hair dye reducer from any chemist. My friend once dyed her hair black when she was 15. Her mother used the hair dye reducer on her hair and it came out a really beautiful medium brown colour with fabulous little red glints in it and looked really natural and BEAUTIFUL - grits teeth with envy!
