Does anyone have any simple instuctions for dyeing black hair with red tips? Or other cool hair idea

I plan on dyeing it black with red tips, but I can't find any instructions on how to do it. Even what products would work best would help.

If you have any other cool hair ideas with the instructions let me know.

If your hair is long, you could try rubber banding a plastic bag around the tips to keep the black die from the ends, then dye the tips red. If your hair is short, tinfoil might do the same thing. Otherwise, if you brush the die on with a paintbrush like they do in salons instead of putting it on with the squeeze bottle, you might have more control.

Dye it black, bleach the tips, then dye the tips red. I'd wait a day before bleaching it though.

i have done this before the way i did it was

dye your base color first which will be you black then wait 48 hours (or else you will fry your tips) then tie your tips off in a pony tail and dye from the pony tail down put the pony tail however short or as long as you want your tips to be.

when it was all done the tips were even and looked amazing and the girl i did it to actually got me some buisness
