I have the exact same kind of hair you do. I cut it all one length and gre it out, and I am really happy with it. It may not be the most DARING of hairstyles, but I find that I con do alot of really neat things with it. So go for what you want, but remember, there is always a place to call "home" haha.

Get it cut to your shoulders with short layers and sideswept bangs. Take the longer part closer to your face and cut that so it frames your face. You know? Like this (((face))). I hope you understand that. Then get your hair chemically straightened. Trust me. It WILL work. My hair is exactly like yours. Oh, and if you color your hair, don't get that done the same time you straighten it. There's my suggestion. I hope you like it.

As far as styling look at pictures and ask friends who may have the same hair as you what they do? As a Hairstylist I am always happy to try ideas clients have when they are ready for a change.

However I find most end up going back to the hairstyle they had.

I find this on the makeover shows when I see the person in a year they seem to be back to what makes them happy.

Some find the new look is better. Be patient and try new things to see what makes you happy.

okay i have hair like this.....I have mine all the same length. Cuz it is easier if you have all of your hair to have the same weight. Just to let you know the shorter it is the frizzier it gets. Mine is just under the shoulders too. Don't get your hair thinned cuz it just makes it worse believe me! I use this brand of products: "Matrix" it works really good! I get it at K-Mart. The bottle is an orange color and says "Sleek.Look, smoothing system" on it. I love it! Maybe you should try it i use the shampoo, conditioner, and styling cream. They are numbered on the front too so you know what order to use them--%26gt;Shampoo is 1, Conditioner is 2, and Styling cream is 3. And ALL of these bottles are ORANGE! Hope find something that works for you!

u need to extra extra condition your hair b4 making up your mind because to wear a certain hairstyle u need to know if your face will look good with a certain Haircut or even if u can take care of a certain h/c yourself so i recomend u talk to your stylist
