Hair style, help any ideas, pictures included!?

Im wondering how I should style my hair. I also have pictures of me:

My hair can't go long, because it puffs up and doesnt fall well, so the sufer/skateboarder looks are out of the picture. So what should I do? Spiked in the front? All spiked? Gel? No Gel? Use a comb or use my hands?

You don't really have alot to work with, I think a flat top, so it is spiked at the just the front and then it is flat at the back. Type flat top hair style into google. See how you go.

you cant do anything with it

grow it but then use gel if it puffs up and stuff
